Aloe Labs Stays Organic With Aloe Vera Crop

There are a number of Aloe vera species, but the Aloe barbadensis Miller contains the most beneficial properties and is the only genus grown for Aloe Laboratories. Aloe plants, being hearty and pest-resistant, already have an inherent advantage over other crops. In addition to the sharp spines on the leaves, a very bitter substance in the leaves repels insects, animals and birds. Therefore, Aloe vera does not require commercial chemicals for protection.

Aloe vera is grown year-round and is a labor-intensive crop – everything is done by hand. Our agricultural specialists cultivate the aloe plants with care. The leaves of the aloe plant are harvested continually, every day of the year, and then taken directly to the Aloe Laboratories manufacturing facility for immediate processing.
